Description:

WSSPE is a soccer game based on an arcade puzzle gameplay. Players must use their intellect and reflexes to lead their favorite national team to the victory in a turn based system. The objective is to line up three or more similar pieces and make them disappear. Depending on the multiplier got, the ball will advance a certain distance to rival's goal. In each turn, players must try to perform de most complex chain to score a goal.

Humor is one of the keys to the game. The captain of each team has their own charisma, design and personality, and dialogs between rivals make the game an enjoyable experience.

Initially, WSSPE was being developed for Nintendo DS as a soccer game based on mini-games gameplay, but the project was cancelled and the game was redesigned for iOS.

I was in charge of designing both projects, including all game mechanics that makes the game fun, balancing and adjusting IA and setting rewards and achievements through Game Center. I also design character's visual look and personality, including all dialogs between them in story mode and tutorials. Finally, I contributed to UI and menu art design.
